Our operations have had an excellent start: we are the primary bank for an increasing number of people ­in Uusi­maa, our customer experience is at a good level and our result is strong. We have made notable investments in our personnel and services. 

In particular, our position as a funding provider in housing has become stronger over the past 12 months. One in ten mortgages in ­Finland are granted by OP Uusimaa. 

We all need a home. The price of an apartment or home may decrease or increase, but we should not see our homes only as an investment. It is ­important to live in a way that suits our current situation in life. 

Our mission at OP Uusimaa is to promote the sustainable prosperity, ­security and wellbeing of our ­owner-customers and operating ­region. 

Thanks to our strong result, we share the majority of our profits with our owner-customers. We pay an increase of 40 per cent on the OP bonu­ses accumulated this year. 

As our owner-customer, you also benefit from our daily banking services that are free of charge until the end of 2024. 

We play an important role in the daily lives of people in Uusimaa, enabling their dreams, just as we have done for 120 years. We support children’s and young people’s sports through our approximately 100 colla­borative clubs, offer training on economic skills to young people and on digital skills to the elderly. 

The Summer Jobs Paid for by OP campaign offers work to 500 adolescents in communities and societies in Uusimaa. In addition to these, last year we started supporting the examination of paediatric diseases and became a member of a project that supports biodiversity in Uusimaa.
